BACKGROUND

Nourishment at the Intersection of Science and Soul

After graduating from Hacettepe University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Buket pursued graduate studies in both Nutrition & Dietetics and Applied Psychology. This dual foundation allows her to combine clinical nutrition expertise with emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, body–mind connection, and lifestyle transformation.

Her professional background spans clinical dietetics, hospital nutrition management, university lecturing, corporate health education, team leadership, and multidisciplinary wellbeing programs — a breadth that equips her to meet individuals wherever they are in their relationship with food and body.

One of the most distinctive aspects of her practice is her deep relationship with the kitchen and culinary culture. She approaches cooking not only as meal preparation, but as a space connected to memory, attachment, creativity, and transformation. Through mindful cooking experiences and table-centered workshops, she explores how food behaviors are interwoven with emotional and relational patterns.

PHILOSOPHY

How Buket Thinks About Food and Body

01

Beyond Diet Culture

Buket’s approach moves beyond calorie counting and restrictive dieting. She works at the intersection of nutrition science and psychology, helping individuals develop a sustainable, compassionate relationship with food that is rooted in awareness rather than control. Her focus is always on lasting behavioral change — not short-term outcomes.

02

The Kitchen as Therapeutic Space

For Buket, the kitchen is not merely a place to prepare meals. It is a space layered with memory, attachment, emotion, creativity, and culture. Through mindful cooking experiences and table-centered workshops, she explores how food behaviors are deeply connected to emotional and relational patterns — and how transforming that relationship can transform a life.

03

Women’s Body, Women’s Wisdom

A central focus of Buket’s recent work is the changing female body — particularly through perimenopause and menopause. She develops holistic, compassionate programs addressing hormonal changes, emotional eating, sleep, stress, body image, and metabolism. Her perspective is integrative and unwavering: women deserve not to postpone their lives for the sake of their weight.

My life purpose is to support people — especially women — so they do not postpone their lives, dreams, visibility, or self-worth because of their weight.
