MOVEMENT SCIENCE

Posture & Biomechanics

POSTURAL ANALYSIS · KINETIC CHAIN · CORRECTIVE MOVEMENT

Posture is not about standing up straight. It is the expression of how your entire kinetic chain shares load — and where it has learned to compensate. Pain often appears far from the place that actually caused it.

Through comprehensive biomechanical assessment, we trace symptoms back to their structural origin, then rebuild efficient movement patterns so the body can carry itself without strain.

01

THE SCIENCE

The Logic of Compensation

The body is a single connected system. When one joint loses mobility or one muscle stops firing correctly, others take over the work — a compensation that solves the immediate problem but distributes strain to structures never designed to carry it.

Over months and years, these compensatory patterns become the body’s default. The shoulder pain, the tight hip, the aching lower back are usually downstream symptoms of a pattern that began elsewhere in the chain.

Biomechanical analysis maps the whole chain — joint by joint, from foot to head — to find the true driver. Corrective movement then reloads the dormant structures and dismantles the compensation at its source, not its symptom.

WHAT THIS HELPS

  • Chronic back and neck pain
  • Recurring injuries
  • Postural fatigue
  • Desk-related strain
  • Hip and shoulder restriction
  • Uneven loading and asymmetry
  • Movement inefficiency
  • Pre- and post-surgical alignment

OUR APPROACH

How We Work

01

Full-Chain Assessment

We analyse your standing posture, gait, and movement under load to locate the joints and muscles that have stopped doing their job.

02

Correct the Pattern

Targeted corrective exercise re-engages dormant muscles and restores mobility where it was lost, rebalancing how force travels through the body.

03

Rebuild Capacity

We progressively load the corrected pattern so it holds under real-world demand — work, sport, and daily life.

The site of pain is rarely the source of the problem.
